Access Stanford Health Check Tool Through Mobile App

In support of a safe return to campuses, the relaunched Stanford Mobile app is now available with the Health Check feature, enabling you to conveniently report your daily health status from your iPhone.

Stanford Health Check is an online tool required daily of all students, faculty, staff, and postdocs who plan to be onsite — or who are living onsite — at any Stanford or SLAC location. Its goal is to keep our onsite community members healthy by helping them track their health daily and identify any symptoms of illness early on, thereby limiting the viral spread of COVID-19. 

As we gradually return members of our community to Stanford’s locations, ensuring the Health Check is available from the university’s official mobile app was critical to the relaunch of Stanford Mobile. The enhanced app became available for download this week in the App Store for iOS devices. It’s coming soon for Android users to download on Google Play.

With the mobile Health Check feature, a tap of your finger lets you:

• Conveniently access Health Check to report your health status 
• Quickly display your Onsite Access Badge to confirm that you are cleared to be on campus
• Enable weekly notifications reminding you to report your health status before arriving onsite at a Stanford location ​

Stanford Mobile ID 

Another new app feature to benefit your on-the-go experience: Mobile ID, your Stanford ID card accessible through your mobile device. The mobile ID feature displays the information that you find on your physical Stanford ID card, including your name, photo, affiliation, University ID, and barcode number. 

Expanded Mobile ID functionality, which includes door access to Stanford buildings, is currently part of a University IT pilot program.
