Happy New Year!

Family Weekend is just a few weeks away!

If you plan to join us on the Farm and haven’t done so already, please take a few moments to register. Registration is required and closes on Friday, February 16.

The weekend will be filled with opportunities to spend time with your undergraduate student and experience life at Stanford.

Some highlights:

• Welcome Q&A with new President Richard Saller & new Provost Jenny Martinez.
  Note: The welcome will be an in-person event held in Memorial Auditorium and livestreamed on the Family Weekend website, with overflow seating available in Burnham Pavilion and McCaw Hall, Alumni Center. Seating in Memorial Auditorium is limited and tickets are required for that venue. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis on Friday morning at the Family Weekend Check-in Center.
   
• A Toast celebrating the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Stanford Parents’ Club.
  Stop by and raise a glass in celebration of our Parents' Club.
  Note: Space is limited, and a separate invitation to RSVP will be sent to families in February who have registered to attend Family Weekend.
   
• Student Experience Sessions and Academic Discussions on special topics ranging from frosh life, career planning and current world events.
   
• Saturday’s Resource Fair will bring various departments and campus staff from throughout the university together to share valuable information and answer questions.
   
• Join us on Saturday afternoon for the Cardinal Student Showcase closing event, where students and families will mingle, enjoy snacks from local vendors, play games, and view live music, dance, and other performances from our talented students!

The Family Weekend 2024 website is your best source for details and ongoing updates to view FAQs, planning tips, academic discussions, open houses, tours, student neighborhood receptions, sporting events, and other activities during the weekend. Events are still being finalized, so please check back regularly for updates.

We hope you can join us for an enjoyable, informative weekend and, best of all, time with your student!
